Cliff Grinde was born and raised in Holden on a mixed farm. In his
youth he was a member of 4H. In 1979 he started
trucking cattle.
In 1981 he expanded his operation and by 1990 he
had a fleet of 13 cattle trucks and employed 17
people. At that point they were hauling
cattle across Canada and the USA. He sold the
trucking business in 1995 and became a salesman
for Edmonton Stockyards Inc. When ESI closed, he saw the opportunity
for another market. Today Cliff still runs about 150 cows plus
approximately 200 grass cattle.
Cliff's well rounded cattle experience is an
asset that his auction clients can draw on.
Cliff is like the farmer's advocate; he is
always trying to get the best for the farmer.
